16 mars 2020 · Trainline may well be bust within a few short weeks as their sales will now begin to dwindle very quickly. It is therefore highly unlikely they will be refunding the cost of a non-refundable ticket. To be clear, the train companies will NOT allow Trainline to refund advance tickets. Trainline have no say in the matter.

15 oct. 2020 · The Trainline have done nothing wrong, and didn't impose the rules; so they're entitled to be paid for the work they did and admin in refunding the ticket etc. It's likely the train operator will also charge them for the refund itself, so not fair they're out of pocket.
31 août 2022 · Trainline Refunds - lack of. I booked 2 journeys through Trainline both of which were disrupted by delay or lack of seating, in 1 case by 10.5 hours, and in both cases Trainline has said it is not responsible and referred me to the train operator. In both cases again the train operators have referred me back to Trainline. Catch 22!

I was travelling to Manchester and booked my tickets on trainline.com I received confirmation and went to the station to pick them up on the day of travel. I couldn't find a ticket machine to put my credit card into so one of the station members of staff found one that wasn't broken or being repaired.
8 nov. 2020 · Anyone made a claim with trainline? I bought a ticket worth £40 and paid for the travel insurance. I knew I wouldn't be able to go a few days before and emailed trainline support and got some automated emails back about rebooking which I didn't want to do. It's now past the journey date. I'm confused on what to do.
27 juin 2023 · Charged twice (2 x £91.80) on the Trainline! Today I had to book a last minute trip for tomorrow. To my horror I have been charged twice on the Trainline after I tried booking an off peak return that should have cost £91.80. But the page timed out and I had to start again.
