You won't be able to get a certain Gmail address if the username you requested is: Already being used. Very similar to an existing username (for example, if example@gmail.com already exists, you can't use examp1e@gmail.com).

25 août 2024 · I understand that you are trying to connect your GMX email account to outlook.com. I see that you say that you can't connect to outlook.com. I would like to ask if you are trying to use GMX mailbox in Outlook web version. Please point out if my understanding is wrong. I will continue to answer for you.
9 juil. 2022 · The GMX account does not have 2-factor authentication. My previous PC had Windows Live Mail (WLM) on Windows 10 and WLM worked fine with the GMX account. Sadly, although GMX provide some information for configuring POP3 accounts with various e-mail clients including WLM, they make no mention of the Mail app :-

Bonjour, Je suis passé d'Outlook 2013 à 2019. J'ai configuré tous mes comptes de messagerie. Mon compte gmx me pose problème, je reçois bien les mails mais à chaque ouverture d'Outlook une fenêtre s'ouvre "avertissement de sécurité internet, le serveur auquel vous êtes connecté utilise un certificat de sécurité impossible à vérifier, le nom principal de la cible n'est pas correct".
Öffnen Sie Ihr Google-Konto. Eventuell müssen Sie sich anmelden. Wählen Sie Persönliche Daten aus. Klicken Sie unter „Kontaktdaten“ auf E-Mail. Wählen Sie neben „Alternative E-Mail-Adressen“ die Option Alternative E-Mail-Adresse hinzufügen oder Weitere E-Mail-Adresse hinzufügen aus. Sie müssen sich eventuell noch einmal anmelden.
30 juin 2020 · I use GMX for emails. I am using windows mail on my new laptop. When i create an email it sits in the outbox and doesnt send. No attachments so not a file size issue. I can access GMX on line and send emails fine. I have removed and reinstalled the GMX account on windows mail. Can you please help / advise. I am a tech novice. Many Thanks. Greg
18 nov. 2023 · Problem: Microsofts App "Mail und Kalender" ließ mich bei der Ersteinrichtung meines Geräts (Surface Pro 9 mit Windows 11) keine Konten hinzufügen (weder meine Privatadresse Web.de über IMAP, noch Gmail.com, die Adresse meines Google- und Microsoft-Kontos). Es erschien immer die Fehlermeldung: "Wir konnten Ihre Einstellungen nicht finden."
