Warren Zevon & Stevie Nicks. Producer (s) Stevie Nicks, Jimmy Iovine, Andrew Slater. In 1984, Zevon presented "Reconsider Me" to Jimmy Iovine. Iovine gave the song to Stevie Nicks and it was recorded for her 1984 album Mirror, Mirror.
By September 1975 Zevon had returned to Los Angeles, where he roomed with Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham, who had at this time become members of Fleetwood Mac. There he collaborated with Jackson Browne , who produced and promoted Zevon's self-titled major-label debut in 1976. [12]
The song was released on his 1976 album Warren Zevon. The song was featured on A Quiet Normal Life: The Best of Warren Zevon and several other greatest hits-type albums by Zevon. Fleetwood Mac members Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks are also featured on this recording, as are Bobby Keys, Bob Glaub, and Waddy Wachtel.

Buckingham and Nick both appear in the credits for Zevon’s first album (so do Don Henley and Glenn Frey).
