Character bios: Dontre Hamilton – The film centers around the shooting death of 31-year old Dontre Hamilton on April 30th, 2014 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Dontre was shot 14 times by an officer responding to a non-emergency wellness check of a subject sleeping in a public park.
