It's saccharine sometimes but it very much has a lot of good examples of male role models but also makes a point that emotional vulnerability and availability is masculine and encouraged. People could do way worse than taking inspiration from that show on what positive masculinity looks like.

Men would say "I miss you" to each other on phone or in public, put their arms around each other in public, hold hands in public, they will give each other long tight hugs, invite each other to sauna where they will be completely naked with each other, and in restaurants they will find the nicest morsels and feed each other physically.
9 nov. 2024 · Trying to cheer myself up and others after you know what lol. I'm personally due for a rewatch of Gurren Lagann. Such a positive anime, but also realistic, with real setbacks and sacrifices. And how can you forget that that saying: Believe in me that believes that in you!
