12 nov. 2014 · Right. "Sorry to bother you" is more idiomatic than its other variants. "I'm sorry to bother you" puts it unquestionably in the present. I would use "sorry to bother you" at the beginning of a conversation and "sorry for bothering you" at the end of a conversation. Having said that, there are several other possibilities, such as:

22 août 2011 · OP's bug is informal/slangy, and shouldn't be used unless you know the other party very well, but in most other contexts it should be fine to say "Sorry to trouble (or bother) you again". If there really is a need to be more formal, there are potentially two different situations.
How will you say if you are making a follow-up of your email and then the sender will reply to you "i'm sorry for the late response. i will get back to you by tomorrow. i am quite busy today" ...is it appropriate to say, "it's alright and i will expect your response to my query by tomorrow. i'm sorry for such a bother."
23 août 2019 · It's not the same as instant messaging where it can interrupt someone when you send it, emails already have a natural barrier between you and the one who receives it and some time between them is expected. After all, they are the virtualization of letters, imagine saying "Sorry to bother you" when you send a letter. Just don't think about it ...
