Margaretta Scott was an English actress who performed on stage, screen and television for over seventy years. She is best known for playing Mrs. Pumphrey in All Creatures Great and Small and for her Shakespearean roles.
Margaretta Scott (1912-2005) was a British actress and writer, known for All Creatures Great and Small, Things to Come and Dirty Work. She also helped to found the actors' trade union Equity and appeared in Somerset Maugham's play, "The Constant Wife".
