The bridge in the opening sequences is in Long Beach leading to the Port of Long Beach. In recent years Mike Connors has commented on how dangerous that sequence was for him to film. He was running on the bridges' steel grating and had he tripped the camera car would have probably run him over. Dec 28, 2011. #3 of 3.

One thing I've noticed in my recent binge of all 8 seasons is how the producers send 'messages' regarding the closeness of Joe and Peggy. Something I have never seen a comment on is their outfits. Watch how their outfits are often similar; color, matching or complimentary patterns.
