Israël Kirzner (né le 13 février 1930 à Londres) est un économiste américain qui appartient à l'école autrichienne d’économie. Il est un des quatre docteurs en économie formés par Ludwig von Mises. Il a enseigné à l'Université de New York.

Dr. Israel Kirzner is Professor Emeritus of Economics, New York University. In 2006, Dr. Kirzner received the FSF-Nutek Award for his contribution to the understanding of entrepreneurship and small firms as well as the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Society for the Development of Austrian Economics.
The American Israel Kirzner studied in New York under Ludwig von Mises and is one of the most relevant contemporary contributors to modern Austrian Economics. He is emeritus professor of economics at New York University.
