In the US, "Phillip Morris" was pushed back to March, then April, and then a California District Court Judge slapped an injunction on the release of the film in July when the filmmakers sued Consolidated. The film was picked up by a new distributor, Roadside Attractions, in August, which finally put it out in December.

AS in Punch Drunk Love was one of the best performances of the last fifteen years. He's cultivated such a huge comedy career that we forget that when he does drama, he fuckin good. He was solid in Spanglish, Reign, and even Funny People. Even in atypical Sandler comedies like Wedding Singer and 50 First Dates he's a hundred times better than in the schlock he makes all his money on.

3 août 2011 · I Love You Phillip Morris. A remarkable film in that it moves quickly from comedy to drama and back and expects you to keep up with the shifting moods. Excellent performances from Jim Carrey and Ewan McGregor. I really enjoyed it! It was one of those films that you never quite knew where it was going with surprises everywhere.
20 mai 2020 · When it’s with adults I feel responding with the neutral affirmative “Ok.” implies “I acknowledge what you you said, but do not intend on allowing it to be a metaphorical brick in the present conversation.”. When it’s with kids (I’m a teacher) I’ll bridge the gap for them, but confirm I’m representing them accurately.
