8 juin 2022 · They never changed the name of the movie. It's always been Edge of Tomorrow (based on the book All You Need is Kill). "Live. Die. Repeat." is the movie's tagline. It's just really big on the dvd packaging, probably to make the general them of the movie more apparent. Because - let's face it - Edge of Tomorrow isn't particularly descriptive.
Edge of Tomorrow (2014) - The first time Major William Cage (Tom Cruise) is dropped on the beach, the impact causes his visor to fall off his helmet. The "second" time, Maj. Cage is dropped, he is able to brace himself a little better and his visor is still on his helmet.
Edge of Tomorrow (Live Die Repeat) 2014 Is an underrated film and watching it now for the fifth time, I realize just how meticulously well done the script is and how well it executes its ideas. The protagonist isn't necessarily relatable from the get-go being a coward and someone who tries to weasel his way out of situations. But after time we see him grow and suffer with him.
23 nov. 2023 · Can confirm. Every time I travel and end up in a hostel group (people who stay in hostels for longer than a couple days tend to meet and form groups to see sights with over the course of their stay), the Americans, myself included, always say their state instead of country.

There was a third title associated with the film.

My theory is because Oblivion really didn't do that well the suits didn't want to take a chance promoting Edge Of Tomorrow. I love them both, Oblivion was more cerebral ( we can't have people thinking can we (?) ) but more people have become receptive towards it. The special effects in Oblivion were sublime. I too am looking forward to it.
6 juin 2024 · Terminator is not an adaptation of a comic like Edge of Tomorrow was, but Skynet was destroyed at the beginning of the first movie, and the T800 was sent back in time to circumvent that. With the destruction of the T800 and Skynet, that should be the end. But then we got an even better sequel a few years later.

6 sept. 2015 · In fact, it's still not even properly known what the title is called. Some have it as just LIVE.DIE.REPEAT and others have it as LIVE.DIE.REPEAT:Edge of Tomorrow. Weird one. I haven't seen a movie do a complete 180 on it's title worldwide before.
