She was the mother of the Queen of Prussia, the Duchess of Saxe-Coburg-Saalfeld and the Queen of Denmark and Norway .

  4. Sophie Antoinette of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel (13/23 January 1724 – 17 May 1802) was the tenth of 17 children of Ferdinand Albert II, Duke of Brunswick-Lüneburg. Marriage. Sophie Antoinette married Ernest Frederick, Duke of Saxe-Coburg-Saalfeld on 23 April 1749 at Wolfenbüttel. She had the following children:

A label on the reverse, in German, identifies the sitter as the consort of Ernst Friedrich of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha who was Princess Sophie Antoinette of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel (1724-1802). However, the sitter bears a closer resemblance to her mother, Antoinette of Brunswick–Wolfenbüttel (1696-1762).

  7. Luise of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel (29 January 1722 – 13 January 1780) married Prince Augustus William of Prussia and had issue. Sophie Antoinette of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel (13/23 January 1724 – 17 May 1802) married Ernest Frederick, Duke of Saxe-Coburg-Saalfeld and had issue. Albert of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel (1725–1745) died unmarried.
