Yallourn est un ancien village d'Australie construit dans les années 1950 pour loger le personnel de la centrale électrique de Yallourn, dans la région du Gippsland, à l'est de l'État de Victoria.
Yallourn, Victoria was a company town in Victoria, Australia built between 1921 [1] and 1961 [2] to house employees of the State Electricity Commission of Victoria (SECV), who operated the nearby Yallourn Power Station complex.

The design of Yallourn established a formal central square adjacent to the shopping area and a formal “Broadway” bounded by parks between the shopping area and railway station. The whole town area was surrounded by a green belt varying between native vegetation, open parkland and sporting and recreational complexes.

Le Moe-Yallourn Rail Trail est un excellent sentier de moyenne distance qui relie Moe aux limites sud de Yallourn et à la centrale électrique. Le sentier est large et bien entretenu, avec une surface en gravier compacté, ce qui en fait un excellent choix pour courir, marcher ou faire du vélo.
The rail trail runs from Bennett Rd at the Moe Botanical Gardens to Yallourn Power Station. It runs along the old rail branch line. Highlights include a detour to Lake Narracan, the La Trobe river and the end of trail where you can see the Simpsons like power station chimneys.
