20 nov. 2017 · Right-click on the desktop and select "Configure Fences..." Click on "Layout" on the left-hand side of the configuration window that appears. Select “Restore a backup” to bring up a list of saved layout backups to revert to. When a saved backup is clicked, a preview window will appear showing you what the layout will look like on your desktop.

15 nov. 2023 · No. The upgrade process on the Fences 5 store page, where you supply your email and it checks to see that you have a prior version of Fences, only applies to the discounts offered for Fences - it does not take into account how many activations you had on any prior version of Fence. Unless you plan on upgrading Fences every 5 years (7.99 per year takes about 4 years to equal the 30 dollar permanent license cost). The cheapest way to get to Fences 5 is actually going to be with the subscription model. basj.

19 mars 2024 · I have Fences 4 and generally like to keep updated, but I'm having a problem finding any information about teh differences between 4 & 5. I know 5 takes us into the subscription model (by default), but I would really like to see what comes with that (other than higher cost).
17 oct. 2009 · However if you either (a) export that registry key and import it into your new computer before installing Fences (or import them and terminate / re-run explorer)... or ( Copy the snapshot XML/PNGs over, and load one of the snapshots on the new machine, then you'll get your Fence layouts back on the new machine.
10 janv. 2022 · With all the latest windows 11 updates here is the status of the issue at least on my machine: 1. left mouse drag - works. 2. right mouse drag/copy - works. 3. right mouse drag/move - doesn't work. 4. cut from desktop/paste - doesn't work. 5. right mouse new/shortcut - doesn't work. 5. right mouse new/folder - works.

23 sept. 2024 · Something curious is going on with my fences. I placed all my roll-down fences at the top of my laptop screen. When I connect another monitor to my laptop the fences always go to the bottom of the laptop screen. After reboot with the new screen connected the fences still stay at the bottom of the laptop screen.
