Le canton de Bâle-Ville (BS, en allemand : Basel-Stadt) est l'un des 26 cantons de la Suisse. Son chef-lieu est Bâle.
Until 1830, Basel was a unified canton, with citizens from both the city and the municipalities of the countryside sitting in the Kantonsparlament. The cantonal parliament was dominated by members from the city, though its population was less than that of the combined countryside.
Elle se trouve à la frontière avec le Canton de Bâle-Campagne (communes d' Allschwil, Binningen, Bottmingen, Reinach, Münchenstein, Muttenz et Birsfelden dans le district d'Arlesheim), la France (communes de Saint-Louis et Huningue dans le Haut-Rhin) et avec l' Allemagne (commune de Weil am Rhein dans le district de Lörrach/Bade-Wurtemberg).
