Princess Leopoldina of Brazil (Leopoldina Teresa Francisca Carolina Miguela Gabriela Rafaela Gonzaga; 13 July 1847 – 7 February 1871) was the daughter of Emperor Pedro II and Empress Teresa Cristina. She shared the first name of her grandmother, Empress Maria Leopoldina of Brazil.

Leopoldina de Bragança (Rio de Janeiro, 13 de julho de 1847 – Viena, 7 de fevereiro de 1871), foi a segunda filha do imperador Pedro II do Brasil e da imperatriz consorte Teresa Cristina das Duas Sicílias e, portanto, membro da família imperial brasileira.

Leopoldina – a Brazilian patriot. Leopoldina not only contributed the golden yellow of the Habsburgs to the Brazilian flag but also worked actively in other respects to help build up the new Empire of Brazil. Following the proclamation of independence in September 1822 there was a general air of joy and enthusiasm.
