Tony Pedro Oliva (born Antonio Oliva Lopez Hernandes Javique; July 20, 1938) is a Cuban former professional baseball player and coach. He played his entire career in Major League Baseball as a right fielder and designated hitter for the Minnesota Twins from 1962 to 1976.

Tony Oliva was a left-handed hitting star for the Minnesota Twins from 1962 to 1976, winning five batting titles and four Gold Gloves. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2022, after overcoming knee injuries and playing in eight straight All-Star games.
24 juil. 2022 · Oliva led the league in runs (109), hits (217), doubles (43) and average (.323) as a rookie while hitting mainly third in the lineup ahead of Killebrew. A year later, he was part of the first Twins team to win the American League pennant.

Tony Oliva was a batting champion and a Gold Glove winner in his first eight seasons with the Minnesota Twins. He suffered from knee injuries in his last five years, but still hit .304 for his career and was one of the 10 finalists for the 2015 Golden Era ballot.
