US/UK-Prog/Psychedelic band. They started out in Riverside, California in late 1963 as The Blue Notes, playing Surf music. After some comings and goings, they finally completed their line-up in 1965, changing their name to The Misunderstood.
L’histoire de The Misunderstood débute à Riverside, à la fin de l’année 1963, lorsque trois adolescents, Greg Treadway, Rick Moe et George Phelps, frappés par le virus de la musique surf, décident de mettre en place leur propre groupe, The Blue Notes.
