21 oct. 2019 · CC Sabathia officially announced his retirement on Monday morning after 19 seasons in the big leagues. Sabathia made his final appearance for the Yankees during the American League Championship Series against the Astros before being removed with a shoulder injury.
18 oct. 2019 · The Yankees' left-hander threw his final pitch in the ALCS against the Astros, after a subluxation in his left shoulder. Sabathia, 39, announced his retirement after 19 seasons in the Majors, leading all active pitchers in wins, starts, strikeouts and innings.
