Nickelback is a Canadian rock band formed in 1995 in Hanna, Alberta. It has sold more than 50 million albums worldwide and has had several lineup changes, including Brandon Kroeger as a drummer from 1995 to 2005.
En 1997, Brandon Kroeger quitte le groupe, qui se lance à la recherche d'un nouveau batteur. Plus tard cette année, Mitch Guindon rejoint le groupe, mais décide de le quitter en 1998 à cause de son emploi dans une entreprise automobile. Pendant l'été 1998, Ryan Vikedal rejoint le groupe.

Mitch Guindon prend un temps la place de Brandon Kroeger à la batterie puis il est lui même remplacé (aprés le premier album) par Ryan Vikedal qui reste en place jusque 2005 où il est remplacé par Daniel Adair, ex- 3 Doors Down (aprés que Greg Upchurch ex- Puddle of Mudd n'assure l'intérim).

Brandon Kroeger is the cousin of Chad and Mike Kroeger, the founders of Nickelback. He was the original drummer of the band, but left due to the heavy touring schedule before their breakthrough hit "How You Remind Me".
20 juil. 2006 · In 1995, Peake, Chad and his cousin Brandon Kroeger, their original drummer, moved to Vancouver to join Chad's brother, who was playing in a metal band. They formed Nickelback, and after two years of constant touring, they got signed by EMI, which re-released their indie album The State in 2000.
