Saʿīd ibn Hishām ibn ʿAbd al-Malik (Arabic: سعيد بن هشام بن عبد الملك) (d. 750) was an Umayyad prince and commander who participated in the Arab–Byzantine wars and the Third Muslim Civil War, often in association with his brother, Sulayman ibn Hisham.

Hichām ou ʾAbū Al-Walīd Hichām ibn ʿAbd Al-Malik (en arabe : أبو الوليد هشام بن عبد الملك), né en 691 et mort le mercredi 6 février 743, est le dixième calife omeyyade. Il succède à son frère Yazīd II en 724. Il est le quatrième fils de ʿAbd Al-Malik à devenir calife. Son assez long règne marque l'apogée militaire du Califat omeyyade.
C'est en 157 qu'Ibn Ishâq écrivit une biographie prophétique complète. Les savants l'ont vantée au point où l'imam Shâfi'î a dit : Qui veut se plonger dans la biographie prophétique devra nécessairement lire celle écrite par Ibn Ishâq.

The biography of Ibn Hisham as narrated by Imam Al-Dhahabi in his book The History of Islam: He died in the year 11H, and his name is Abdul-Malik bn Hisham bn Ayyub. Abu Muhammad Al-Dhuhaly also reffered to as Al-Himyari (a native of Himyar, Yemen), Al-Ma’afiri, Al-Basri, the grammarian.
