Biography. Founding bass player Annette Zilinskas joins Susanna Hoffs, Vicki Peterson, and Debbi Peterson of The Bangles for a live show in 2016 from the Whisky A Go Go. She is a founding member of The Bangles and returned to the band in 2018 [1] after an absence of 35 years.
Annette Zilinskas quitte la formation en 1983 pour rejoindre le groupe de cowpunk Blood on the Saddle. Elle est remplacée par Michael Steele, ex-membre du groupe The Runaways. La formation signe ensuite un contrat avec Columbia Records afin d'enregistrer un premier album.

25 nov. 2019 · Alors qu’Annette Zilinskas s’envole vers de nouveaux horizons en rejoignant le groupe Blood on the Saddle, The Bangles sort son premier opus, « All Over The Place » en 1984. Annette a été remplacée par Michael Steele, issue de la formation The Runaways. Cet album se veut pop et folk, typique des années 60.
Original bassist Annette Zilinskas started joining the band for selected live shows in 2014 and rejoined the band in 2018. This was the first time the original founding four members of the Bangles had played together since 1983.
