We tried it on a trip to LA and Kayak produced a search result with what we wanted… so I paid, including for insurance, but the rental office was miles from the airport, closed when we arrived, and no one picked up the phone on the help line. 15 mars 2022 · Kayak is a good aggregator to start with, but your best best is to go the CR rental sites directly for a better idea of prices and availability. 3 mai 2023 · If you have access to Costco car rental, you can do cancellable booking, unlimited miles. You pick the car you actually want with the company you prefer. There is also pickup nearby instead of airport. You need Costco membership card to book, but I have never been asked to show card at pickup. Reply.
7 sept. 2023 · Has anyone used the "Suprise Agency" from Kayak.com when booking a rental car? The price is dramatically cheaper than any of the other listings. 30 janv. 2023 · Edit: Adding cost details. The rental is for a compact SUV for 11 days in June. Typical prices through Costco and DHCR are ~1,400 to 1,500. The one through credit card is ~950 (refundable) but with Dollar (where I have no status). The one through Kayak is ~850 (non refundable) but with Hertz where I can possibly use my presidential circle ...

Supply constraints are making it difficult to rebuild fleets and is keeping pricing higher than “usual”. Also, keep in mind you’re trying to rent a car in June, arguably one of the toughest times to rent because school is out and families are traveling.

31 mai 2023 · Easy Way Car Rental. Hi all! We are planning a trip to Cancun in July and trying to figure out if we should rent a car or join a tour to get to Chichen Itza for a day. I see a lot of recommendations for Easy Way car rental. I am seeing compact cars for $7 a day/$14 a week. Is it really this cheap?? lol.

I found that with the cheaper services you end up paying more than they quote. Sure, they will quote you $50 bucks from Florida to New York but then charge you $800 for all the "other stuff". I usually use kayak and avoid the smaller outfits just because of issues I've had before. Just my opinion.
