The qBittorrent project aims to provide an open-source software alternative to µTorrent. Additionally, qBittorrent runs and provides the same features on all major platforms (FreeBSD, Linux, macOS, OS/2, Windows). qBittorrent is based on the Qt toolkit and libtorrent-rasterbar library.
qBittorrent has been in the OpenSuse official repository since v11.3. One-click install here.

8 janv. 2018 · I'm using Qbittorrent for a few years now, and had never trouble with it. Until a few weeks ago no torrents were downloading anymore. At the bottom I can see a yellow Icon saying "no direct connection". There is a green arrow on "downloading: 0B/s". Log says it has a successful connection.
30 sept. 2024 · I reinstalled v4.6.7 and my speed is back to normal. I'm using Windows 11 64bit. - The "V5" has nothing to do with the underlying library which does the heavy lifting. - If you check, the library versions are 100% the same: https://www.qbittorrent.org/news.

30 sept. 2024 · You will notice the new qBittorrent 5.0 will start in Dark Mode if your Windows 10 System Settings is set to Dark Mode. There is not an option to change this mode from within qBT UI as it depends on what your Windows settings are.
