8 août 2024 · Our 2017 Jeep Renegade is having electrical glitches while driving. Some of these include: 911 being active even when not pressed, service electrical park brake warning, GPS showing her being 30-40 miles off where she really is, radio not working, glitchy radio. 17 août 2024 · First, it's a bit easy to crush with a tire iron, if too much force is used. Second, the steel under the caps tends to rust, causing the swelling you're referring to. There's apparently a smaller hex head under the aluminum, part of the steel. But that doesn't help when you have a tire iron with a 17mm hex opening.

You need to have a good shop (not necessarily a Jeep dealer) do a system pressure test, and fix it. Topping the system off with just water -- distilled water -- will work in the very short term ...
