The Salt Fiber Router is also very barebones and you most likely won't be able to run a server (i.e. Plex) and connect to that from the outside. At least I wasn't able to do that with Salt. 18 mars 2020 · It's a shared 10gb line usually rented from municipal fiber. Worst case a whole bunch of your neighbors are eating all of the bandwidth (unlikely). What's probably happening is that your equipment is outdated and needs to be replaced. If your pc has an ethernet port, plug it into the salt router and run a speedtest.
