2 nov. 2018 · From Monty: A Biography of Montgomery Clift - 1977. Elizabeth Taylor, at seventeen, reacted to Monty just like millions of other girls her own age. Like them, she longed for a benign sexual involvement with a man who was mature but vulnerable, masculine but sensitive, who had a thinly disguised need for mothering.
28 oct. 2021 · R35 Montgomery Clift threw up after hearing the news of Dean’s death and told Bill Gunn that Dean’s death profoundly impacted on him. Dean looked up to Brando as a mentor/father figure. Brando said as such in his autobiography and in his other conversations with James Grissom (if we’re to believe they actually spoke). I get that Dean was ...
20 juin 2016 · Hawks also stanned the fuck out of Mitchum's sweaty, grimey, drunkard's torso in El Dorado. Appropriately slumbers out from behind empty jail bars. I dunno if it is ALL about Monty. I think John Ireland is pretty damn dreamy in that clip, too. Ireland was hung like a clydesdale! John Ireland was HOT in OPs clip.

The passage of time has further dimmed his legacy. His rival, Marlon Brando, and his successor, James Dean, are still remembered and hailed as great actors, but Montgomery Clift is nearly forgotten.
31 déc. 2021 · Montgomery Clift was a handsome man. However, his sensitive, tortured soul persona made him an eternal boy, which negates any sexual magneticism and makes him less attractive, IMO. Rock Hudson, in print, was no doubt a handsome man; however, bland. BUT, in moving pictures, especially in his 1960s comedies, he exuded charm, strength, and sexual ...
14 févr. 2019 · Taylor can't act her way out of her form-fitting swimsuit, but she's shrill and anguished and that was enough for tThe Academy. Hepburn is her mannered self, but (like Liz) she brings star quality to her role. Clift is a cipher in Suddenly, Last Summer; Robert Stack or William Shatner could have played the same role, and probably more believably.
