Merry Clayton, née le 25 décembre 1948, est une chanteuse afro-américaine de soul et de gospel et une actrice. Elle fait également de nombreuses contributions comme choriste pour plusieurs artistes à partir des années 1960, notamment avec les Rolling Stones 1 sur la chanson Gimme Shelter 2 de l'album Let It Bleed 3 en 1969.

Merry Clayton is an American soul and gospel singer who contributed vocals to many major artists, including the Rolling Stones, Elvis Presley and Tori Amos. She is also known for her solo albums, her role in The Who's Tommy and her appearance in the documentary 20 Feet from Stardom.
