8 juil. 2021 · The new Puma Rally1 features a next-generation hybrid powertrain that combines a turbocharged 1.6-litre EcoBoost engine with a 100 kW electric motor and a 3.9 kWh battery. The car will compete in the FIA World Rally Championship from 2022, using a fossil-free fuel and reflecting Ford's commitment to electrification.
15 janv. 2022 · COLOGNE, Germany – The M-Sport Ford World Rally Team (WRT) today gave motorsport fans their first look at the exciting competition livery that will help the new M-Sport Ford Puma Hybrid Rally1 car electrify the 2022 FIA World Rally Championship (WRC).
Marking a landmark moment in rally history, the Puma Hybrid Rally1 is the first hybrid FIA homologated car eligible for competition in the top category of the WRC. The battery-electric motor element of the hybrid powertrain captures energy during braking, storing it in a 3.9 kWh battery.
