As a result of the software update rollout, we have seen some questions pop up around the slider options within ‘Settings’ on the in-vehicle screen and wanted to provide some additional information.
31 oct. 2020 · I see L in the Mach E to be similar to B in our Leaf. It increases regenerative braking without being one-pedal. I sometimes use it to slow faster coming up to lights and on downhills. B also doesn't seem to make much difference in cruise control when the car already uses regeneration to keep speed constant on downhills.

17 oct. 2023 · I’ve measured a failed Mach-E contactor at 5+ mΩ, which is very high and would generate a lot of heat. If anything, the recall software was not sensitive enough, and could only detect a failing contactor under a high amp draw, such as full throttle acceleration for several seconds. It may not detect a failing contactor if you never floor the vehicle or only do so briefly.
