5 oct. 2022 · Many thanks, Simon. The color is giving an indication of the altitude of the aircraft. Check the bottom of the map. Also if you see a grey (dotted) line of the aircraft it is an indication that the aircraft is out of coverage of the ADSB recievers and the system is then plotting the expected trajectory for that flight. 21 août 2024 · Looking for some help with a new setup. It’s a pi3. I have an external powered USB hub and in the rasberry I am running AIS-catcher and flightaware. I am receiving AIS data no problem. but ADS-B no luck. It appears to be running: Just no data. I have even switched the receivers used for AIS, switched the ADS-B cable and antenna. I did install the RTL-SDR v4 drivers too. how can I get some ...

10 nov. 2023 · Go to https://flightaware.com and ensure you’re logged in. Select “My ADS-B” in the top bar. If you have more than one feeding site, select the site you want to upgrade in the orange bar dropdown. Click on the cogweel on the right side of the orange bar. Under “Device Commands”, select “Upgrade and restart PiAware”.
3 févr. 2024 · Raspberry Pi 5 fudge. raspberry pi 5 has a problem with piaware 9.0, on the pi 5 it run with bookworm. so right now, save your money. PiAware should be fine with a package install on a Pi 5 running bookworm (we do provide packages for bookworm). You’ll need to use the upstream Raspberry Pi OS image, not the PiAware sdcard image, for the moment.

It was a Raspberry Pi 3 using a FlightAware Pro Stick Plus, connected to an external antenna up on the roof. All was working well. Was receiving about 100 planes at a time, and about 2000-2500 planes per day.

15 oct. 2021 · I upgraded a couple of Pi’s to 6.0 last month. There was a missing graph I never was really concerned about. Then I added a feeder this weekend and it appears it’s the “gain” graph. Does anyone know how to get that gain graph to populate? I have serialized dongles in the missing graph pi’s if that matters. I thought it might.
20 sept. 2016 · Hi I’ve just burned a new SD card with version 3 on it and booted my Pi 3. I run this headless and it needs to connect to my WiFI network so I need to login via ssh to set up the WiFi (I’ve connected a cable temporarily). However, I can’t login to the Pi using the normal user pi password raspberry. What’s the default password for the pi account? Gareth
