2 janv. 2020 · Elizabeth Sellars, the stage and screen actress, who has died aged 98, made her name on the postwar West End stage in Tea and Sympathy. Set in a New England boys’ boarding school, Robert Anderson’s drama created something of a sensation in an era still subject to official stage censorship: it showed the wife of a housemaster seducing a pupil branded as homosexual.
Another chance to see Elizabeth R (BBC 1971), six self-contained plays of 90 mins length looking at the history of Elizabeth I, memorable for a standout performance by Glenda Jackson, here at the height of her powers. 9 oct. 2022 · People who purchase this dvd set probably wish to have it as a keepsake. If I should come in possession of this dvd set, I may view some parts, but not the entire 9 or so hours. A DVD has been released of the funeral of Queen Elizabeth. The Box contains nine discs. The price, 35 pounds.

(movie still at 00:14:10) This appears to be the "Queen Regent by Pietro Annigoni (1955)" as illustrated in cornershop15's earlier post (23rd April 2019, 06:35 PM #3) in this thread.
