3 mars 2000 · I can understand you not liking wooten, cos heck, sometimes I can't listen to his stuff, but the above two statements are probably the biggest travesties ever mentioned in talkbass. The man's technique is top-notch, one of the greatest in the world. And his uncanny sense of melody, harmony and just music itself is unbelievable.
May 24, 2012. #1. I slapped this together for fun at lunch today. The 10 elements are form Victor's Groove Workshop DVD & his book The Music Lesson. The groupings are my own. I am a nerd. One of the thigns I really like about Victor's elements. is how it reduces the idea of groove to more concrete elements. for productive discussion and learning.
14 mai 2005 · Jul 7, 2010. #9. They differ in two ways from our usual strings sets... 1. Gauge: Vic's set is 40-55-75-95 (the 5-string set adds a 120 B) 2. Construction: ALL of the wraps not the core) are nickel instead of only the outer wrap being nickel (on our other nickel sets). They are very flexible allowing for Vic's bends and taps to be easily executed.
