Darja Varfolomeev ( Russian: Да́рья Дми́триевна Варфоломе́ева; born 4 November 2006) is a German rhythmic gymnast. She is the 2023 World all-around gold medalist and the 2022 World all-around silver medalist. In 2024 she became the 2024 European all-around bronze medalist.
She became the first rhythmic gymnast representing a unified Germany to win a medal at the world championships by claiming bronze in hoop at the 2022 edition of the tournament in Sofia, Bulgaria. (SportsDeskOnline, 15 Sep 2022; olympics.com, 14 Sep 2022)

Darja Varfolomeev (GER) “survived” to emerge the new World All-Around champion in Rhythmic Gymnastics Saturday night, joining a very short list of gymnasts who have completed a clean sweep of the gold medals at the World Championships.
Varfolomeev made her senior debut at the 2022 World Cup held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. She immediately caught everyone's attention by winning four medals - a bronze in the individual all-around, two silver medals in ball and ribbon, and a bronze in hoop.
