Whether you have a passion for art, design or performance, we have an extensive range of courses for you to choose from. Each course has access to an extensive range of facilities and are led by specialist teaching staff.
Our RIBA award-winning Lowry building provides an ambitious inter-connected art and design complex. It features a vertical gallery, hybrid studio spaces and a multitude of workshops that include ceramics, jewellery design, bookbinding, traditional and digital printing, and more.
Art. Our practice-based approach explores studio work and other creative activities across fine art, curating, performance and art history. Design. We examine the transformative power of design through graphics, illustration, interiors, product craft and textiles.

BA (Hons) Fine Art is a studio-based programme that provides students with the platform to confidently enter the professional world of the artist and arts professional.
