  2. The Siracusa International Institute for Criminal Justice and Human Rights est une fondation italienne sans but lucratif (ONLUS) dévoué à l’étude et à l’avancement des sciences criminelles.

The Institute has conducted over 40 technical cooperation and training seminars for judges and public officials from developing countries on the topics of organized crime, international cooperation in penal matters, extradition, and the protection of human rights in the administration of justice.

  4. International Criminal Law and Human Rights. The Siracusa Institute remains firmly committed to incorporating its technical and research expertise into a progressive educational program that meets the evolving substantive and practical training needs of lawyers, jurists and related criminal justice professionals.

  5. The President of the Institute is assisted by two Vice Presidents and by a Secretary General, as well as by an Advisory Board, whose members are selected among recognized international personalities, to liaise with supranational, national and international organizations.

  7. Depuis sa création, l’institut de Syracuse joue un rôle majeur dans la construction du système international de justice pénale. Aujourd’hui encore, il catalyse les interactions entre juristes et praticiens du droit de renommée mondiale, au service d’un ordre international fondé sur des règles.
