Most Gresham's students are boarders and live in one of the school's seven boarding houses. Four of these are for boys: Howson's (1903), Woodlands (1905), Farfield (1911), and Tallis (1961). Three houses are for girls: Oakeley (1971), Edinburgh (1987), and Queens' (1992), known as Britten until 2016.

OCCASIONAL BOARDING. Occasional boarding, when space permits, is charged at £80 per night at Prep School and £120 at Senior School.
