At the Mountains of Madness is a 2005 double live album by American composer and saxophonist John Zorn's Electric Masada featuring performances recorded in Moscow and Ljubljana. [1] [2] It is the second release by Electric Masada.

Very often in the past when listened to great Masada's albums, I thought how great it would be to add in that music guitar and some electric rock drive. There it happened - on this live album, John Zorn's 50-th birthday celebration series' release!
Electric Masada is one of John Zorn 's more recent Masada units, a true downtown supergroup formed in the mid 2000's to combine the raw power and manic speed of Naked City, the improvisational edge of Cobra and the spiritual lyricism of the Masada songbook.
