5 oct. 2022 · Il existe d’ autres indications plus rares, comme le lichen plan, le prurit (démangeaisons) ou l'insuffisance rénale. Avant d’entreprendre une photothérapie, et quelle que soit l'affection concernée, le bénéfice/risque est toujours évalué par rapport aux autres traitements en cours.

Les contre-indications. Par manque de recul sur cette population, les femmes enceintes ne devraient pas utiliser cette thérapie durant la grossesse. Les personnes souffrant de troubles de la coagulation sanguine, telles que l'hémophilie, ne devraient pas non plus utiliser cette technique.
20 janv. 2021 · Since bilirubin may act as a photosensitizer, children with congenital porphyria or a family history of porphyria may develop severe blisters due to enhanced photosensitivity; thus, phototherapy is an absolute contraindication in these patients .
The presence of direct hyperbilirubinemia is not a contraindication to phototherapy.
