  5. The Columbia University School of the Arts (also known as School of the Arts or SoA) is the fine arts graduate school of Columbia University in Morningside Heights, New York. It offers Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degrees in Film, Visual Arts, Theatre and Writing, as well as the Master of Arts (MA) degree in Film Studies.

  6. The School of the Arts is fully committed to undergraduate education and offers courses that lead to the BA (Bachelor of Arts) degree in Creative Writing, Film and Media Studies, and Visual Arts awarded by Barnard College, Columbia College and the School of General Studies.

  7. The Visual Arts Program is interdisciplinary and offers an MFA degree in Visual Arts rather than in one specific medium. The two-year studio program, taught by internationally celebrated artists, allows students to pursue moving image, new genres, painting, photography, printmaking, and sculpture.
