William Bast (April 3, 1931 – May 4, 2015) was an American screenwriter and author. In addition to writing scripts for motion pictures and television, he was the author of two biographies of the screen actor James Dean. He often worked with his partner Paul Huson.
William Bast est un scénariste et producteur américain né le 3 avril 1931 à Milwaukee, dans le Wisconsin et mort le 4 mai 2015 [1]. Il est le fils de Gilbert Bast et de Bernice Fleischmann.
William Bast (1931-2015) was a TV writer, producer and the first biographer of James Dean, his close friend and lover. He wrote and produced several TV movies and series, including The Colbys, The Outer Limits and James Dean (1976), based on his own book.
