Fender knows how to make necks, been doing it since the last millennium. Fender name on the headstock. But I can get a Warmoth Stratocaster replacement neck, licensed by Fender, for about $250.
18 mars 2020 · Unfinished Roasted Maple, Stainless Steel frets and 59 Roundback. I've got to say Warmoth really nailed it ! The neck is fairly meaty with a very round profile. Compared to my Les Paul's Traditional neck I would say it's a bit rounder and a little bit bigger. I believe it's perfectly matching what you are looking for.
15 janv. 2024 · Warmoth Tele / Strat Hybrid body (T-Style Shape with Strat Body routes - including a Swimming Pool route). Pre-finished in Seafoam Green. Warmoth T-style neck (at the pocket) with an S-Style headstock. Roasted Maple, Stainless Frets, Gibson Scale (24.75"). Satin finished.
1 mars 2011 · Mar 1, 2011. #13. The lines/contours are different on a Warmoth body than an actual Fender strat body. If you are a stickler for acuracy, then Warmoth is not for you. They do have a "vintage" strat body now as well, which I have no experience with. It may be different, but I am not sure.
3 août 2021 · A few things they differ (in my opinion): Musikraft rolls the fretboard edges; Warmoth doesn't (not a big deal if you order unfinished fretboard, but HUGE difference if you order finished fretboard) -win for Musikraft. Musikraft offers more options of where you want to adjust the trussrod (head or heel) - win for Musikraft.
I have a Warmoth tele and it's excellent. I would like the strat equivilent, just body and neck. Hardware is already sorted! It's impossible to say if you have a good guitar until it arrives and you've pieced it together. I could order the parts and it be an absolute pig.
29 août 2006 · Apr 21, 2011. #21. much prefer the more traditional build of the USA Custom Guitar conversion necks. played a lot of warmoths, they sound dead to me, in comparison to my two usacg necks, plus two my luthier has and plays. excellent necks, frets were perfect when they arrives, all i did was a couple of coats of wipe-on poly, good to go.
18 déc. 2021 · Example, you can get 24.75 scale on a single action truss rod (at warmoth this is only possible on their "modern" neck, which has double action truss rod). Musikraft rolls fretboard edges. For that reason, if you plan to get a neck with maple fretboard, I'd recommend musikraft. All in all, I slightly prefer Warmoth.

14 avr. 2014 · All my Warmoth necks have a single rod that works properly and they have been straight for years. But I'm going to try Musikraft next year. I asked Warmoth again to make me a two piece neck without a skunk stripe and they won't do it so after five Warmoth necks I'm going to Musikraft. I will also try their roasted option, it makes figured necks ...
