At a valuation of 600B, Tesla’s current price tag is on par with the largest, most successful, and highest-profit companies in the world. To buy now means you expect them long-term to continue going up on top of this already-massive valuation. Possible, but definitely risky (especially for a company that is very new, has relatively low profits, and isn’t very diversified).
