He created the character Dolemite, the pimp from the 1975 film Dolemite and its sequels, The Human Tornado and The Dolemite Explosion (aka The Return of Dolemite).
Rudy Ray Moore was a comedian and actor who created the character of Dolemite, a kung-fu fighting pimp. He starred in several blaxploitation films, such as Dolemite, The Human Tornado and Disco Godfather, and wrote and produced some of them.
