Richard Wright, né le 28 juillet 1943 à Londres et mort le 15 septembre 2008 à Londres, est un auteur-compositeur-interprète britannique et l'un des membres fondateurs du groupe de rock progressif Pink Floyd.
Richard William Wright (28 July 1943 – 15 September 2008) was an English keyboardist and songwriter who co-founded the progressive rock band Pink Floyd. He appeared on almost every Pink Floyd album and performed on all their tours. [3]

Le musicien est néanmoins de retour dans Pink Floyd, lorsque David Gilmour a pris les rênes suite au départ de Waters. Il participe notamment aux albums A Momentary Lapse of Reason (1987) et The Division Bell (1994).
Wright frequently sang background and occasionally lead vocals on stage and in the studio with Pink Floyd (most notably on the songs “Time”, “Echoes”, “Wearing the Inside Out”, “Astronomy Domine” and “Matilda Mother”).
