28 nov. 2021 · Indeed works by scraping hundreds or thousands of other websites for real job postings, and recreates the information as a new job in its own format. An overwhelming majority of jobs posted here are clones. Applying to these cloned jobs does absolutely nothing. Nobody receives your information. They are a fake-it-until-they-made-it success story of sharing near false information to draw the ...
I have found several jobs on Indeed over the years. I go to the company site to apply. If I can't find the company site or the particular job on the site I question the posting and don't apply to any of those weird job boards that feel like a phishing expedition. However, I have had better luck this go around with LinkedIn than Indeed.
6 oct. 2023 · Note that in addition to being able to see resumes/cover letter/applicant info through the Indeed platform that the same info is emailed to the employer as well. So if the employer chooses to just use those emails to choose their candidates, this may be the reason you got that message. However, we don't know so we can't automatically assume ...
30 mars 2022 · The employer has allowed Indeed to send this message on their behalf. Parts of this email may use OpenAI and other AI technologies to generate content about the similarities between your resume and the job description. This message is intended only for you. I have taken a TON of assessments on Indeed, and have scored really well on many of them. To me, they seem like valuable workplace skills, but I'm not sure if employers are actually taking these into account, or even care at all. Do recruiters or hiring employers actually take these assessments into account when looking at Indeed resumes?
23 juil. 2022 · I use indeed as a search engine and then go directly to the company's website. I have a suspicion that indeed applications are the last ones to get looked at, but if I find a job posting there, then I can split directly through the company site or email the recruiting rep with my cover letter and resume.
15 mai 2022 · Indeed can be useful for identifying job openings. Ignore any posting more than a week old. Figure out your top 2-5 brand new (<24 hours) job openings on Indeed each day and apply via the company's website. You want to put most of your effort each day into applying for the actual good job postings. After that, feel free to use Indeed to rapidly apply for any remaining jobs that you might want ...
4 oct. 2020 · Indeed makes it way too easy to apply, meaning employers will get hundreds of applications on Indeed, far more than they have the manpower to go through. Their website will likely take longer and have more hoops to jump through but that means that there will be less competition as only those that are serious will be willing to make the effort.
All day on indeed baby—really not as much as one might hope but I’ve consistently gotten jobs via indeed. My numbers are like 10 apps per 1 interview and 40 apps per 1 job acquired. Best way for ever and always to get a job tho is to have a personal reference or connection. The best jobs are always to be had that way and everything else is ...
