« Dimebag » Darrell Abbott (20 août 1966 – 8 décembre 2004) (aussi connu sous le nom de Diamond Darrell) était un guitariste américain de metal. Connu pour être un membre fondateur du groupe de groove metal Pantera, ainsi que Damageplan. Darrell est considéré comme l'une des forces motrices du groove metal.
Darrell Lance Abbott (August 20, 1966 – December 8, 2004), best known by his stage name Dimebag Darrell, was an American musician. He was the guitarist of the heavy metal bands Pantera and Damageplan , both of which he co-founded alongside his brother Vinnie Paul .

On December 8, 2004, Abbott was murdered on stage during a Damageplan performance at the Alrosa Villa in Columbus, Ohio. He was shot 3 times by Nathan Gale.
