  8. I have a life assurance policy in an A&M trust but am contemplating removing it and holding it as bare trustee for my children. Does anybody know if the removal from the trust would trigger income tax? I understand I am allowed to cash in 5% per year but this would cleary be 100% so I fear it may be chargeable to income tax, but if anyone could tell me otherwise it would be greatly appreciated.
