21 juin 2019 · I know this question may be duplicated but I didn't find any answer for my problem, I'm using LocalDateTime in my Android app that requires API 26 and my device's API is 25.
3 oct. 2022 · However, the app runs without any problem in the API25 and API27 emulators, and the Logcat messages get displayed ok. I have tried deleting and re-installing the SDK platform for API26 and then deleting and re-creating the emulator, but it doesn't solve the problem. The device definition I am using for all the emulators is Nexus 5X.
6 avr. 2019 · java.time works nicely on both older and newer Android devices. It just requires at least Java 6. In Java 8 and later and on newer Android devices (from API level 26) the modern API comes built-in. In non-Android Java 6 and 7 get the ThreeTen Backport, the backport of the modern classes (ThreeTen for JSR 310; see the links at the bottom).
28 juin 2021 · MediaStorage use Uri to request a file. API28 and below works with File or String as path to file. With MediaStore manually creation of a folder is not needed. API 28 and below should create a folder if not exists. Deleting of Files requires User interaction with MediaStore. CRUD: Create: To write data in File for any API is OutputStream required.
