Christian Campbell is a Canadian actor, producer and director who has appeared in various film, stage and TV projects. He is known for his roles in "Max Steel", "Big Love" and "True Detective".
Christian Campbell is the author of the acclaimed poetry collection Running the Dusk (2010), which won the UK’s Aldeburgh Prize, among other awards. Campbell studied at Balliol College, Oxford as a Rhodes Scholar and his work has been featured and reviewed in the New York Times, the Guardian, Small Axe, the Financial Times and elsewhere.
Campbell’s poems combine linguistic influences from across a wide spectrum, from modernist poetry to soul music, resulting in a kind of precise musicality beautifully conveyed here through his measured, almost hypnotic delivery.
